BedazzleMANIA

It’s been an absolutely MARVELOUS month for bedazzling!! I have conquered what I initially set out to do: get confident enough to bedazzle my precious precious guitar, Dolly. She now has a beautiful ring of pink rhinestones right in the middle! Everytime I see her I break into the hugest smile. I’ve also sparkled another pair of jeans, nearly every item of makeup I own, my computer case, and even an Advil bottle. It has become such a meditative activity, especially in this somewhat hectic last stretch of college. I’ve begun bedazzling for long stretches in silence, letting my mind focus on placing the gems. It’s what I imagine driving to be like for people who enjoy driving. Some very intriguing and curious ideas have emerged from the quiet! My ideal day has now become: wakeup, bedazzle until my eyes hurt, then play guitar until my fingers hurt, write down lyrics until the pain subsides, rinse and repeat! The only downside to this is that mutiple days can pass without me seeing the sun or stepping outside, and I barely even notice!!!
